Little adventure to get this shot. With no time to spare I hopped in my dinghy and rowed out to my 17 foot sailboat with a dry bag full of camera gear. Quickly dropped the outboard in the water untied the mooring and powered out of the inner harbor to where I thought it would be a good shot in the mooring field of the outer harbor. This is where it got fun. Steering the boat through a mooring field with my foot on the tiller while trying to compose something that made sense. This shot was taken on the first pass through the moorings 5 minutes later and I would have missed it. It’s great when things work out.
